JEANRICHARD applies the system of controls set out by the Kimberley Process, to stem the flow of conflict diamonds.
All diamonds purchased by the Brand are compliant with the System of Warranties of the World Diamond Council which is committed to the Kimberley Process.
The Kimberley process imposes strict requirements on its member countries by means of official certificates, in order to check the origin, exports and imports of rough diamonds.
Once cut, diamonds are accompanied by a statement defined by the System of Warranties of the World Diamond Council, which must figure on all cut diamond invoices: "The diamonds herein invoiced have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.“
JEANRICHARD actively supports the emerging ethical gold industry.
JEANRICHARD made its first purchase of Fairmined certified ethical gold in 2014. This was a first step toward direct support for Fairmined certified gold mines in Peru. The label certifies an appropriate level of safety, social support to local communities and preservation of the direct environment.
The Fairmined label also guarantees the origin of gold, as produced by empowered, responsible, artisanal and small-scale mining organisations. It is transforming mining by ensuring social development and environmental protection.

JEANRICHARD is committed to the preservation of bees, which are very threatened today all around the world. The reintroduction of bees in urban areas nurtures biodiversity and supports overall pollination.
Hives have been installed in the gardens of JEANRICHARD’s headquarters. Each hive consists of over 50,000 bees and can produce up to 10-15kg of honey per year.

Created in 2008, the Kering Foundation has engaged the group in this major issue, which resonates with its own activities and its customers, and in which the company has a crucial role to play alongside the public authorities and associations.

Since 2012, SOWIND (Girard-Perregaux & JEANRICHARD) is certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC). SOWIND is meeting the ethical, social and environmental standards established by the RJC’s Member Certification System.
The certification underpins SOWIND’s belief in corporate social responsibility and sustainability, while continuing to work towards achieving the highest ethical best practices both internally and externally.
